WebI'm assuming you are talking T-60 rather than X-01 (I don't remember seeing winterized on the X-01). Looks wise, yes, Winterized looks nice. Practically, the only thing that can really kill you fast in a power armor are explosives, so I normally go with explosive shielding for most of my exploring and "I don't know what I'll be fighting" armors.
